Tupolev Tu-95 "Bear" Long-Range Heavy Bomber

The Tu-95 prototype first flew in 1952 and was operational in 1956. The Tu-95 was a very successful aircraft, though it was also very unconventional. It features high-output turboprop engines with twin four-blade contra-rotating propellers to achieve long-range and relatively high-speed. Many variants of this aircraft were produced.
